New York filmmaker Guy Jacobson
journeyed from the red-light district
of Cambodia to the front lines of
activism against human trafficking
by founding a nonprofit, and using
his film Holly (now in expanded
release throughout the U.S.) to raise
public awareness. The U.S. State
Department's Trafficking In Person's
Report 2008
(released this month)
has recognized Jacobson and his
co-producer Adi Ezroni for their
work, citing it as "one of the best
researched narrative films on
child sex tourism."
